The application was initially developed for the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Pretoria in 2019. The goal was to create an application that teach technicians how to execute the test and how to navigate the real world space in the lab.
Placement of equipment and the layout was duplicated from architectural drawings of the lab space. Machines were digitally duplicated and placed in the virtual space.
The application was developed in the VRI lab at the University of Pretoria.
