Lab Safety Scenario VR places students inside a fully interactive virtual laboratory where they can engage with realistic safety scenarios hands-on, without the cost, risk, or consumable waste of physical training environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Learners choose between guided and unguided modes, selecting from multiple scenario types that take place across different locations within the virtual lab. Step-by-step procedures are completed using virtual safety equipment, with the freedom to repeat any scenario as many times as needed \u2014 building genuine procedural confidence before students ever set foot in a real lab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Developed in collaboration with the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Pretoria, the application is grounded in a formal research study validating its effectiveness as a pedagogical tool.
