{"id":309,"date":"2026-07-15T12:50:43","date_gmt":"2026-07-15T10:50:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/xri.co.za\/xri\/?page_id=309"},"modified":"2026-07-15T12:50:43","modified_gmt":"2026-07-15T10:50:43","slug":"explosive-truck-inspection-vr","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/xri.co.za\/xri\/explosive-truck-inspection-vr\/","title":{"rendered":"Explosive Truck Inspection VR"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Explosive Truck Inspection VR is a research-led training simulation that places trainees inside a full safety inspection of a Mobile Manufacturing Unit (MMU) \u2014 colloquially known as an &#8220;explosives truck&#8221; \u2014 the vehicle that mixes explosives on-site and injects them directly into blast holes at the mining face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What trainees do:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Move freely around the vehicle to build spatial familiarity before ever approaching the real equipment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work through a structured, step-by-step inspection checklist<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Examine individual components and points of interest up close<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete a full, end-to-end inspection sequence from start to finish<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Why it matters:<\/strong><br>Checklist items and fault conditions are randomised between sessions, so no two inspections play out the same way.
